A behavioral Health practice is expanding and seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to join our new location on Windy Hill Road in the Smyrna/Marietta area.

This opportunity is ideal for a PMHNP who wants the flexibility, autonomy, and earning potential of private practice without the expense and administrative burden of operating a practice alone.

We provide the office and practice infrastructure so you can focus primarily on what matters most—providing excellent psychiatric care and building meaningful relationships with your patients.

The position may be part-time with a flexible schedule, with the opportunity to expand as your patient panel grows.

Long-Term Growth & Ownership Opportunity
We are looking for a PMHNP who is interested not only in providing excellent patient care but also in growing with the practice long term.
For the right provider, there may be an opportunity to be considered for an ownership interest in the practice after three (3) years of continuous service, based on performance, commitment, mutual fit, and applicable legal requirements.

This opportunity is ideal for an entrepreneurial PMHNP who wants to build a patient panel, grow professionally, and potentially have a future stake in the practice.

Any future ownership opportunity would be subject to mutual agreement, applicable law, practice valuation, and a separate ownership agreement.

What You Will Do
The PMHNP will provide outpatient psychiatric services, including:
  • Comprehensive psychiatric evaluations.
  • Diagnosis and individualized treatment planning.
  • Medication management.
  • Psychiatric follow-up visits.
  • Patient and family education.
  • Coordination of care with therapists, primary care providers, and other clinicians.
  • Timely and accurate clinical documentation.
  • Identification of appropriate candidates for advanced treatments when clinically indicated.

Compensation:
  • This is a percentage-based independent contractor opportunity designed to reward the provider as their patient panel and collections grow.
  • Compensation is based on a competitive percentage of professional collections for psychiatric services personally provided by the PMHNP.
  • Additional compensation may be available for designated SPRAVATO clinical coverage.
  • Specific compensation terms will be discussed during the interview process.

Qualifications
Applicants must:
  • Hold a current and unrestricted Georgia RN/APRN license.
  • Hold current PMHNP-BC certification.
  • Maintain current prescriptive authority and DEA registration, as applicable.
  • Maintain professional liability insurance or be willing to obtain appropriate coverage.
  • Maintain any nurse protocol agreement, physician delegation, or other professional arrangement required under Georgia law for the services provided.
  • Maintain all licenses, certifications, registrations, and professional requirements necessary to practice in Georgia.
  • Possess strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to compassionate, ethical, and evidence-based psychiatric care.
  • Outpatient psychiatric experience is preferred.
  • Experience with TMS or SPRAVATO is helpful but not required.

Appropriate orientation and training can be provided.
